Tacos el Asadero

There are many taco trucks in the city, but taco BUS? wait, let me amend that...taco BUS with counter seating for about 10 folks inside? Yeaaaah!

While it may not look like much from afar, this little bus..can pump out some damn good Mexican snacks!

Step 1: Pick your dish type. they have all of the usual suspects one would find at a taco stand, tacos, sopitos, burritos, huaraches, and various combo platters with rice, beans, and salad.

Step 2: Pick your meat. Carnitas, asada, pollo, bierria, lengua! I like to mix it up with asada (beef), lengua (nice and tender tongue), and carnitas (pork).

Step 3: Have a nice bottled refreshment. A BOTTLED beverage is always a must whether it be Jarritos or the extra sugary Mexican Coke.

Step 4: Take a seat at the counter, it's nicer to face MLK and watch the Sound Transit go by and enjoy.

The meats are all cooked perfectly and seem to have that right amount of spice and the toppings are simple. A nice onion cilantro mixture which you can add to with salsa, pickled carrots/peppers/onions, radishes, or fresh lime.

This place is not a roach coach by any means. The shiny stainless steel interior with placards for prepaid phone cards is quite charming, with the satellite tv pumping out Univision.
